MyLinda Butterworth is Totally Stories or that is what she claims as she brings stories to life as an award-winning author, performing artist, or in the virtual world where she proclaims herself the queen of alliterations as she has recorded and posted nearly 1400 of them on her YouTube channel Totally Stories. She encourages her listeners to enjoy the journey as she stokes the fires of imagination as she shares a plethora of stories. (74 words)

MyLinda Butterworth is an award-winning author, storyteller, and a master of alliterations and tongue-twisters, which she does daily through her YouTube Channel @TotallyStories. With a background in theater, a father who taught storytelling in college, and a mother who was an artist, MyLinda claims she was molded into being a performance artist at an early age, which would explain why she has a Master’s degree in storytelling. She aims to give words a voice through storytelling and creative oral readings. MyLinda believes everyone has a story to tell, whether it is at the kitchen table or on the stage.

MyLinda is the director of the Alleghany Highlands Story Fest, past Dean of the Pennsic University Performing Arts Department, past director of the Florida Storytelling Festival, and the CEO of Day to Day Enterprises, a small independent publishing company. She teaches storytelling classes, a school program called Put it in Ink about the art of writing and publishing your own book, and several medieval classes in early performance and storytelling. MyLinda has a Masters Degree in Storytelling from East Tennessee State University and a BA in Theater Education from Brigham Young University.

Storytelling comes in many forms and characters among one of her many characters is Scholastica Joycors who is a medieval lady and sometimes a fool who tells stories in persona. She will arrive fully bedecked in her 15th century French attire to entertain, inspire, and educated about medieval times. She also tells historical stories, but loves the telling of folk and fairy tales.

When she is not telling stories or creating books, she enjoys cooking, creating new recipes, playing with chocolate to make luscious candies, sewing, quilting, crafting, researching medieval topics and costuming, and spending time with friends and family. MyLinda is the author of 10 books: The Monster Run -award winner For Health's Sake: A Cancer Survivor's Cookbook -award winner Just 24 Days Till Christmas, Countdown to Christmas, Crazy About Christmas - amazon #1 bestseller. The following books she co-authored with her mother, Linda S.
